Themes to be discussed:
- role of ethnic factor in the social development of modern societies
- polyethnicity as modus vivendi
- ethnic factor in the educational space of Ukraine
- situation with the rights in the sphere of national minorities education
- language situation in Ukraine, language milieu in Ukrainian schools
- educational programs for national minorities
- formation of interethnic tolerance in school milieu
- activities of diasporal communities in educational and cultural areas
- individual and group cultural rights in intercultural education
- international experience in implementation of cultural and educational rights of national minorities and immigrants
To participate in the seminar the experts on ethnonational problems, lecturers, representatives of national-cultural societies are invited.
In the seminar are expected to participate: professor of the Goethe-University (Frankfurt am Main) Udo Rauin, professor of the Jagiellonian University Leszek Korporowicz, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, Board Chair of the East European Development Institute Mridula Ghosh, former Advisor to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Tetyana Pylypenko, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Policy of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine professor Volodymyr Troshchynskyy.
The familiarity with the practices of educational and cultural activities of NGO’s of national minorities of Ukraine is planned.
