Second Seminar on the evaluation problematics “Evaluation of Scientific and Educational Programs for National Minorities”

14-15 April, 2015 Center for Evaluation of Scientific, Educational and Social Programs, Institute for Sociology, Psychology and Social Communications of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Scientific Ethnosociological School of Professor Volodymyr Yevtukh and Grygoriy Skovoroda Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyy State Pedagogical University had held the second seminar on the evaluation problematics “Evaluation of Scientific and Educational Programs for National Minorities” under the patronage of Honorary Professor of Public Relations and Communication Moritz Hunzinger (Frankfurt am Main, Germany).

In the seminar participated: Professor of the Faculty for Education, Psychology and Art at the University of Latvia Rudīte Andersone (Riga, Latvia), Board Chair of the East European Development Institute Mridula Ghosh, Professor of the Faculty for Education, Psychology and Art at the University of Latvia Iveta Ķestere (Riga, Latvia), Professor of the Jagiellonian University Leszek Korporowicz (Kraków, Poland), Professors of the Department for Intercultural Education at the Faculty for Pedagogy and Psychology at the University in Bialystok Jerzy Nikitorowicz and Dorota Misiejuk (Bialystok, Poland), Publisher of Germany’s Leading Lifestyle Magazine, “Top Magazin”, Honorary Professor in Journalism of Wisconsin International University (USA) Ukraine (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) Michael Ruiss, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University Andrzej Porębski (Kraków, Poland), Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Policy of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine professor Volodymyr Troshchynskyy etc.

Main problems discussed during the Seminar:

Activities of Diaspora communities in educational and cultural areas.
Educational programs for national minorities: design and content.
Ethnic factor in the educational space of Ukraine.
Foreign experience in the implementation of educational and cultural rights of national minorities.
Formation of interethnic tolerance in the school environment.
